New to forum. Have one pair of L166 Horizon, pair of L96, and pair of L40. MA 6200 Integrated Amp purchased new in 1985. Still enjoy the classic sound from the 1970s and 80s.

rsma6200....Welcome to AA!

I've always liked both the L166 and the L96.

I like the unique grille on the L166. I have a pair of 4313B's, which is essentially the professional series version of the L96.

Pete: Thanks for the welcome to AA. It is very informative. All of the speakers have been re-coned in the 37-40 years we've owned them. You've got some nice equipment. Most we have is around 37 years old when we bought the MA 6200. The grill is unique on the L166 and we still appreciate the sound. It is 'old school.' Rob
