Is the Ayre k5xe^mp a giant killer, or what?

The stereophile review is excellent. JA seemed super impressed. I like the price point.

I bought one a few months ago and really like it. It replaced an older ARC LS16 and was significantly better in all respects.

I own K5xe for 4 years already and I'm very satisfied. It is version without MP filter yet. Have you anybody had a chance compare versions with and without MP filter?
