I now have 3 of them.

I bet in the days when you were just a HiFi enthusiast building out your first serious room (was it down in FL?) that this hobby would lead to what it is today, you'd never believe it... :D

Yup, I have lived in Florida since 1981.

Since I am adding some new components to one of my Accuphase systems, it required another rack to accommodate them.

Tomorrow, I will post photos and elaborate on how to have two racks side by side, and not see a single cable. :ok:

The answer is magic. Ivan is expert in the dark arts and decided to specialize in making the cables vanish.

Making cables vanish is easy, getting the system to play without them is the tough part :D

First, let me preface this with the fact that I use many different Wiremold and D-Line products when cables would otherwise be seen.

I buy them all on Amazon; for this small project, I used a D-Line cable raceway:

I cut these to the length needed on my chop saw, and paint them with 2 coats of wall color and thoroughly let dry. I then place them in proper positioning on the wall (be sure to use a level), and let them stay in place overnight. The adhesive really holds them tightly to the wall, yet still allows you to open the raceway for cable insertion/removal.

In this photo, you will see a double run of D-Line raceways. The upper one carries all the necessary cables for my BDA-3, ADD-Power Wizard, and Acoustic Revive components.

The bottom one will be used exclusively for my Accuphase DG-68 soon to be installed. As you can see there are no cables visible without getting a few inches away with a bright flashlight.

The white wall outlet seen in the photo, is not dedicated and therefore will not be in use.
