Best headphone amp under $1400????
 

Looking to buy a headphone amp. Want to spend less than $1000 but will stretch a little if it's special. Any suggestions?

Just needs to be an amp. If it's also a DAC that's fine but a stand alone amp is all I need.

My vote is Lehmann Audio Linear or Linear USB. It's the current KING in my collection. I like it so much I have two.

WooAudio6, with upgrades and Grado rs1i's is my vote

I am biased but the Woo Audio WA-6SE with Sophia Princess & matched pair of 6GL7/6EM tubes is a monster, clean, clear, wide range, quiet and looks amazing.Power for I think anything you will drive too:)
Go take a look at Jacks site. I like Ray Samuels stuff too, But I think Woo is a league up:thumbsup:

I own a couple headphone amps including Bryston. Favorite sound is the Pathos Acoustics Aurium. My Sennheiser HD 650s never sounded so good.
