New DB Series Subwoofers
A new flagship subwoofer series has been announced by Bowers & Wilkins. Containing three models within the DB Series, these are the most advanced subwoofers from the West Sussex based company yet.
Featuring the Aerofoil cone basss drivers as used in the brand's flagship 800 Series Diamond loudspeakers, the DB1D (12"), DB2D (10") and compact DB3D (8") the new range is said to incorporate new digital technology and materials advances. http://www.stereo.net.au/images/arti...W-DB-S-EXC.png While the DB1D has a 2000w amplifier, the smaller DB2D and DB3D subwoofers use 1000w amplifiers, a more compact version of the DB1D. Correct. I've done the setup/calibration on a prototype sub, and it was a breeze. As long as your Android or iOS has the app and bluetooth is on, the app recognizes all the DB Series subs and allows you to adjust of of them independently.
