We should All be Grateful!

While my main rig would seem to be a cobbled together combination of modern and vintage modified gear, it really has held me mesmerized on a daily basis. Could it be improved? I'm sure my audio journey is not over, but we all must revel in our stage in our journey. I feel blessed to be able to enjoy my music collection on a daily basis, and will revel in the continuing evolution of my Main rig in bringing me more and more involved in my music collection.
Regards,
Jim

Amen!

It is a twisty, confusing, road at times but well worth the journey!

It's always interesting to take the next step, wondering where it will lead you.

Enjoy the journey, Jim.

I love how my system reproduces the music I love!

It's always fun to upgrade and try to squeeze more out, but I also am in a great position right now: I love my systems and get endless pleasure out of them just as they are, and realize how lucky I am to be able to afford them and appreciate good sound and music. Thanks Jim for starting this thread, it's good to remind ourselves of where we've come from and what we have now, instead of obsessing over the next improvement.

Tony,

Good points. Man when I started it was rough. The equipment I had was NOT very useful...we kinda had to make it up as we went along...

Wonderful post Jim.
I follow your music choices, they are eclectic and show great taste.
I'm sure all that great music sounds wonderful on your rig. :music:

Listening to music on your own personally assembled system is I bel
lieve an individual experience that can bring you closer in some ways to an artist than any other exposure of their art. There are no distractions, no wondering if this system is right for you or worth the money; those decisions have already been made. It is a time when music and a deep connection with it is all. Paul
