One more review; at this price point it's worth trying.

Ivan.......After reading the review, I believe it to be a quality FM signal amplifier. If the three RF stages employed are able to deliver weaker signals cleanly, then it would be a worthwhile addition to any tuner. I use an RF amplifier on my FanFare FM-2G outdoor antenna, but it is no where near the $450 price tag of the Magnum MD-205. Mine was $30.00, and provides 10 to 15dB of gain depending on the frequency you are trying to tune. The problem with mine is it amplifies noise, too. So if a weak, distant signal is tuned and there is noise, all of it amplified. If the MD-205 is capable of minimizing or eliminating this noise, while at the same time amplifying the signal, that would make it valuable, and perhaps even worth its price.

I'm going to give it a shot; who knows it might prove to be a great addition.

Ivan.......I may give the MD-205 a try as well, but I think I'll let you test the water first, and let us know what you think.
