I am still enjoying my DAC2 but the upgrade bug is biting and I am going to either send in my DAC2 for an upgrade, or buy a refurbished unit from Wyred and sell my DAC2. It all depends one the net cost of the upgrade.

I'll probably upgrade to the anniversary model, to get the benefits of improved layout as well as the pro chipset.

W4S just renewed their AA Sponsorship, so you can expect them to be posting here again shortly. :ok:

I just picked up a 10th Anniversary DAC from EJ in silver. It replaced a PS Audio DSJr. I’m real happy with it thus far. I also had an first version 2011 DAC-2. The 10th anniversary DAC pairs well with my other W4S components. The red display is stunning.

DAC-2v2SE vs. 10th Anniversary DAC

Hi, has anyone shot out the W4S DAC-2v2SE versus the DAC-2v2SE 10th Anniversary Limited Edition?

I am curious if there is a meaningful improvement in sound quality, as I have a 2v2SE that I like very much, and I am trying to decide whether to trade it in plus cash for 10th Anniversary DAC.

Thanks very much.
