What to do....P1X is $11K more expensive than close-out pricing on P1....I'm inclined to buy P1 and save myself the $11K (which I can put towards D1X).

I dont see it coming with a streaming ethernet module perfoming MQA unfolding, so this will be a fulk fledged MQA capable dac.

I ordered Grandioso P1 today. I figure that with P1X being so much more expensive than P1, the used price of P1 should remain quite strong. What is hard to predict is how many P1 owners might upgrade to P1X. I'm inclined to suspect not many, meaning fewer used P1 finding their way to market and thus not diluting the re-sale price.

There is no way D1X will have network streaming capability.

For me, i dont spin much disc now, or for that matter, for quite some time already.

The D1x, if allows mqa from all inputs will tick the boxes for me.

If the eslink 5 transmission has been improved, there may be a big upside in performance connecting the P1x to a D1x.
