Hi Being in the UK I wanted to check with the owners of the CLX, over the years of ownership have any of you had any technical problems with them? Have any of you have had to replace your panels?

Calling Timobi....

HAHAHAAH :)

Ok..Well I've only had mine for a year. Actually will be a year around the first of February. But so far NO issues :)

Mike McMarthy who is a fairly new member here and friend has owned his longer. I'll shoot a text to him to respond here.

Another option is to read some on MLO.com (martinloganowners.com)

Martin Logan does have an excellent customer service rating and I've found their dealers to be informed and helpful.

peacefulcargo 01-23-2019 03:50 AM

I had CLX's for maybe 2 years when they just came out and sold but strongly considering buying them again as I miss them.

They are the best speakers I've ever owned...and among the best I've ever heard.

I’ve had mine for over 5 years and no issues. Love them a lot!!

I purchased mine in May of 09 they are the anniversary edition with the aluminum frames they have been flawless till last month when I noticed the mid-tweeter panel on one speaker was lower then the other. suspecting the panel needed replacement I contacted ML it turned out it was in the electronics and the repair cost was about $200.00 Still the best speaker I have ever owned.

Thanks Ken. So did you you have to send your speakers back to fix your Electronics?

Muriel Heslop 04-13-2019 06:21 AM

brad225 04-14-2019 04:04 PM

Just short of 3 years here. No issues at all.

kens 07-27-2020 02:00 PM

I was able to seperate the panel form the base that contains the electronics just sent the base back. pretty painless.
