McIntosh D1100 Ordered
I have been in my version of audionirvana since 2009. :jazzplayer: That was when I put the 2 channel pieces together that I have in my signature below. Modest compared to many members systems on this forum . I was able to get off the upgrade merry go round and feel content for many years. With being content inevitably I started to take it all for granted. When I put new carpet in the room after 7 years it took me 6 months before I even put a chair in the room. I lost interest  That all changed with the recent addition of the Aurender N100H purchased from a new dealer near me who was nice enough to let me demo it in my home a few weeks ago. I am hearing the best digital suddenly that I have heard in my home. My sonos I thought sounded good, I never thought it was holding me back.
It's time to upgrade my DAC, hopefully McIntosh has there act together with the D1100 :dive: A wise man once said " Everything is good until you compare it to something better". |
David,
Congratulations! The D1100 looks like a fantastic component. Look forward to reading your posts on the new sound in your room. |

The D1100 seems to be a great DAC with no compromises. New blue eyes in your setup. Enjoy !

You'll also be able to recoup some of the cost by selling the MCD500? With the N100H and D1100 you might not need any spinning media.

David.......Congratulations on your new McIntosh D1100. The D1100 and the Aurender N100H should be a nice combination. If you think the N100H sounded good through the MCD500 DAC, get ready for a serious performance bump.

Thanks, looking forward to it, hope I don't miss being able to just pop a cd in the tray although I can't remember the last time I did.

Yeah baby!!! Congrats!

Congratulations David!

David: Congrats on the D1100. Looking forward to your listening impressions.
I seem to find myself very intrigued and wanting this new flagship DAC. |
