Thanks Randy. I am totally in love with those YG's. The most detailed / musical speaker I have ever heard. The YG's also project a ginormous soundstage. Its really the first speakers that truly let me focus on the music and not any aspect of the sound.

But back to your system. The LS50's are such a fantastic speakers, every household should have a set  and must sound awesome with the Mac

Thanks for the KEF review, they might well be my next speakers.

I was embarrassed having a McIntosh / KEF system just sitting on the counter in my home office so I pulled the pictures down.

Well my wife finally has seen the reasons to move it and has agreed to moving it to our loft library. It sounds much better up there.

We have ordered a cabinet and some nice speaker stands. After they arrive and I get it all assembled I will re-post some photos.

Thank you for all the support and great info that you all have given while I educate myself and bring myself up to speed in this new (to me) digital audio world.

That looks very nice.

Thank you.... I like it so much better in the loft than sitting on a counter in my office.
