Just Ordered...

I just ordered a Marantz SR7005 for LuJr. It is one feature rich AV receiver with some nice looks.

Agreed - I look forward to hearing your/Lu Jr's impressions...

They make solid AV products. Friend of mine has the 8002/3 or something series, and powers the XLS line of McSpeakers on it. Sounds freggin' amazing.

Those new ones are very swanky looking.

the av 7005 , surprisingly its less than the receiver,

schaefer11 08-18-2010 03:17 PM

Will it have Audyssey Multeq XT32?

jdandy 08-18-2010 03:21 PM

The list of features for the Marantz SR7005 is extensive. It even uses the Anchor Bay 10-bit Video Processing/Scaling circuitry, plus composite/component to HDMI scaling up to 1080p. There are seven amps rated at 125 watts/channel, plus Audyssey MultEQ XT Auto Calibration. It also supports the new HDMI 1.4a for 3-D. What is even more astonishing is the price. $1599.00

Marantz America | SR7005 < < COMING SOON ! ! > > HDMI ver.1.4a & Network AV Receiver
