Audio grade duplex for projector?

Hi,

I want to squeeze the best performance out of my projector (1080P Panasonic PT-AE8000) and I was thinking about installing an audio grade duplex as a starting point. If those work for audio, then they would equally work for displays I assume. I don’t know what to expect so I can only extrapolate from the reviews on the audio side. I was thinking about the Furutech GTX-D (R). Anyone has upgraded the outlet for their display? I have a dedicated 15A line for the projector alone already installed.

I'm not a huge fan of the Furutech Rhodium for audio purposes, although I think I'm in the minority with that opinion.

I do like the gold version of the outlet you mentioned (and use it in my main system), but many describe the NCF version of the rhodium as an improvement over the non NCF rhodium you're thinking about.

I really like (and use) the Audioquest Edison in my second system, and in that system, I liked it better than the Furutech gold which I installed after trying Audience Hidden Treasure, which I didn't like for audio. The Hidden Treasure is rhodium plated and had unbelievable dynamics but thinned out the midrange to my ears, in that system. That was also my complaint with the Furutech rhodium duplex.

Price wise, the Furutech gold, Audioquest Edison, and Audience Hidden Treasure are all in the $150 ballpark but the two Furutech rhodium plated duplexes are north of that price point, I believe.
