Ronnie Earl is great, enjoy him & Bruce Katz both. We listened to Avalon a couple nights ago on 180g LP, and my wife and I have promised to do a side by side of the LP & the SACD, but we usually just get into the music by itself.:thumbsup:

Tonight, I've been shuffling through my library while burning in a replacement amp.

I did derive specific pleasure from a few tracks from the Last Samurai soundtrack, and from Tomcraft's "Loneliness".

Never fail to put me into a romantic mood - the late Dan Seals acoustic version of "I Really Love To See You Tonight" from his "In A Quiet Room" CD! Simply saccharin filled melody!

I stumbled onto Ronnie Earl music, and ever since I have been buying his CD's.
I just got that Soul Searching CD.

Healing Time, and Colour of Love are also very good.

Listening to Yuval Yaron's "Devil's Thrill", a Naim recording.

I just switched from listening to the soundtrack from "Gone Baby Gone" to Jeff Beck "Performing this week Live at Ronnie Scott's".

I listen to a lot of soundtracks, especially when I am reading or surfing the net. Other suggestions would be The Changeling, Cider House Rules, Gods and Generals, Chocolat , Legends of the Fall, more later.

Now I am getting ready to head to the gym, so a little up tempo music was called for.

Last night was Coldplay, Def Leppard, and Dire Straits. :D

I'm stuck with the "paperboys live at Stockfish studios" LP....

How do those Naim recordings compare to the Linn recordings? I've never owned or even heard a release on either label....yet.
Maybe I'll pickup something from my Linn dealer this weekend. :scratch2:

Right now I am listening to a wonderful SACD, Janine Jansen - Vivaldi, The Four Seasons. Janine is an extraordinary violin player. This SACD is very well recorded.

Four Seasons is nice.
