Breaking News!

My dealer informed that my Alexias will be shipping on Friday...

Mike
Maybe they will arrive in time for a Thanksgiving weekend install. That would give you a couple of extra days to listen a start breaking them in. :D

Great news! Hope you get to spend time with them over the Holidays :)

Congrats! I have read the reviews in tas and Stereophile. If I had been JA I would have removed some furnishings to increase the treble a little rather than go with resistors; otherwise the Alexia got sterling reviews. JA liked it almost as much as an XLF. I don't know how you could have picked a better speaker. BTW, the mystery of the low impedence is solved-it is a mistake! The minimum impedence as measured by JA is 2 ohms which is no problem for Mac amps in the 4 ohm tap. My reservations with the effect of the new tweeter on the impedence and overall efficiency have been completely removed.

Congrats Mike! Hope you have them in time for the long Thanksgiving weekend. Very impressive how the Alexia's compare to Wilson's highest models. They appear to be the sweet spot in the Wilson line.

That's great news Mike!

If they make it out on Friday you should have them by Tuesday or Wednesday....
Have patience, they need to be perfectly set-up (and do not ignore the height. each speaker needs to be exactly the same height, something many ignore or don't realize) and at least 500 hours. Don't be afraid to hit 'em hard!

Nothing like uncrateing new Wilsons!!

Congrat's Mike! Now is the hard part having to wait. :D
