I also bought a WA6 a few months ago and loved it. But I got the upgrade bug right away and asked my dealer if I could exchange it for a WA6SE. I kept the WA6 as a loaner, and the SE finally arrived this week (after ordering it two months ago). I just set it up, and it sounds great. I know it will require significant break-in time to reach its optimum sound, but I am pleased so far.

I loved my WA-6 when I had a Pass Labs INT-150, but I sold both after I bought a PrimaLuna HP. The headphone output is incredible, as it should be since it's driven by the full complement of tubes! (8 EL-34 and 6 12AU7)

Agreed. The PrimaLuna HP is awesome. Always a treat to listen to it although most evenings I still use the Woo since it is on my desktop and I typically listen to headphones behind the desk/computer.

I noticed that Woo Audio has a new website. Although the Princess Sophia rectifier tube is listed for sale in the Tube Section, it is not listed as an option for either the WA6 or WA6SE. I’m very curious why that is the case. Could be an oversight in launching a new website.

Probably an oversight. I like the old website better... In case Woo doesn't offer the Sophia Princess, it can be purchased here. http://www.sophiaelectric.com/

That giant rectifier tube makes that look awesome! If I'm ever in the market for a tube headphone rig this will be on the short list.

Yes, looks really cool, especially with the lights dimmed and sounds sublime. Very musical amp. :music: Love it with the Audeze LCD3 and the ZMF Auteur Blackwoods. Sennheiser HD600 are also great with the Woo.

Gave the WA6 serious thought, however in the end went with a one box solution for the desktop upgrade and ordered a 2nd gen WA7 today.
My first Woo!

Excellent choice, I’ve had a WA7 for a few years and have been very happy with it. It’s excellent with IEMs especially.
