Jim.......You're right. Having the full background keeps things in focus. I have enjoyed every season of Bosch and enjoying Season 5 as well.

What I like about series such as Bosch and several of the British Crime Dramas is the time they take to play out the timeline. One hour dramas have their place but due to time constraints they must skip over the small details.

Do you watch Forgotten on PBS or Line of Duty on Hulu? Both are superb and examine one crime in detail. LoD is one of my favorite detective shows ever. Each episode explores crimes by "one of their own." Features fantastic writing and acting.

Yes, I watch "Unforgotten" on PBS. I think we just watched Espisode 3 for the current season. Have not seen Line of Duty.

Some of my favorites series:
"Happy Valley" have been waiting several years for the final season.
"Broadchurch" this is where I first saw Olive Coleman.
"The Fall"
"Marcella"
"Collateral"

He names his dog Coltrane. Cool, but I don't know how he got a dog!

I don't want to spoil anything..Isn't that the dog he saved in the dessert camp?

Oh yeah... I had forgotten about that! They didn't tie that together very well in my opinion.

Definitely not a spoiler.

Damn you Dan. I'll say it again; damn you.

I've read all the Bosch novels and enjoyed them. I also have a coffee mug that says, "Never judge a book by the movie."

A friend made me a CD a few years ago entitled, "The Music of Harry Bosch." He painstakingly recorded almost all of the music mentioned in the novels. It's a delight to listen to.

Tonight, a bit bored I decided to try the Bosch series. I started with season one.

Unfortunately I now know what binge watching is.

Like I said, damn you.

Oh yeah, and thank you!

We finished season five last evening. Maybe not the best season but still very enjoyable

My one problem with the series is having them jump so far forward in using “Two Kinds of Truth” as the basis for the storyline. This is one of the last books in the series and there are so many more they could have chosen first.

Bob.......Thanks for the chuckle. The series Bosch is quite enjoyable. I finished watching season 5 earlier in the week. Looking forward to more.

Bosch

I recognized the Walsh speakers right away. Tonite I noticed the Mcgear in season 2. Good series, nice gear.
