Affordable Higherfi Speakers
 

I'm guessing most people have heard of their $995,000/pair Audio Opulence speakers due to their absurd cost, but is anyone familiar with their "cheap" speakers? The HFX-3, HFX-2 and HFX-1 have all been listed as "floor models" with "clearance" prices for years on higherfi.com, yet I've never seen a single mention of them on any forum, review on any website or...well, pretty much anything aside from the pictures on the site.

They've been a curiosity in the back of my mind for years, yet no information or reviews ever seem to surface. Anyone remotely familiar with these with info that could be shared? I was going to try to take one for the team by setting up a demo if they were within a reasonable drive...but Michigan to Florida if a little more driving than I had in mind. :(
