System upgrade thread...(with pics) uh oh, am I going to the darkside?
 

I thought I'd start my system upgrade thread, I figure since it's Christmas, no time better for upgrades, right? Anyway, I've got some things on order so those pics will have to wait, but I should be up and running sometime on or a little after Christmas. :merryxmas:

So.........what has taken place and what is coming? First thing I did was upgrade the power cords on my 2 REL subs......I had the standard stock cords on there, but switched them out for the Pangea AC 14 power cords.....nice upgrade, well built and got a great price on them.

Next it was time to upgrade the power supply to my system:

I changed out all my stock cords with Shunyata Venom 3s. What else, oh yeah! The Shunyata Hydra alpha4. The 20 amp cord this thing comes with is quite hefty!

In addition to this, we have a couple of new pieces of furniture headed our way as well. I truly believe the comfort and decor of the room really helps out the sound, so I'll post some pics.....but until then.

Buck.......Is the box hiding a Manley Labs Chinook Phono Preamp? It seems a bit small for a Steelhead. ;)

UPDATE: Too late for any major reveal, but dealer came over this afternoon to deliver the "goods". Oh wow. This is amazing. Pictures to come. I hopefully will have time tomorrow, but as one more hint:

Major reveal imminent!!!! My dealer delivered everything a couple of days ago, so I snapped some pics now that everything is set up. Still waiting on a couple of pieces of furniture, but other than that we're set. My journey towards the dark side is now complete! I'll upload the pictures and description a.s.a.p.
