Love my PMC OB1i
Someone summoned me?
You know I love my PMC OB1i. I use a pair of Bryston 7B-SST mono blocks and a BAT VK-51SE tube preamp with it. I recently acquired a new tube dac with ESS chips by Eastern Electric and I think it is a great tube DAC for the money. However, It will not replace my Esoteric CD player. I will probably will not switch to different brand of speakers anymore. I am not getting any younger @40s, my hearing is not as good as when I was in the 20s or 30s. It is a fact of life that we all undergoes called primary aging.:yes: Don't worry guys, it is a gradual process that you will hardly accept. By age 65+, most of us will hardly be able to tell higher and softer notes anyway. So I am enjoying the bliss for now. :music: Quote:

PMC MB2 with PMC stands
Bryston 14B-SST2 (mid/tweeter) Bryston 14B-ST (bass) Bryston BP26 Bryston BCD-1 Bryston interconnects Neutral and dynamic set-up with good clarity and detail. A bit lean overall - texture/body and overall smoothness of individual instruments could be improved (may be due to room acoustics?) |
Viajero5000.......Welcome to Audio Aficionado.
No doubt the PMC MB2 and Bryston bi-amp set up rocks the house. |
