Some very meager info on the new T-1200:

Quite similar to the T-1100, but not enough detail to know.

They moved the buttons around, but it will be interesting to compare the technical features (once released) between the T-1200 & T-1100. Hopefully, we will get a comparison similar to this one that compares the T-1100 & T-1000.

I don't have any info on the T-1200 but the McIntosh MR80 is significantly more sensitive than the T-1100 which requires 37.5 dBf input for 50 dB quieting in stereo.

MR80 needs only 14.7 dBf for the same level of quieting in stereo (50 dB). Of course, this is only as critical as the desired signal is weak.

Per the link you posted it is 17dBf with the T-1100. Think you must have misread.

However, I found no 'real world' difference in sensitivity between my Terry DeWick'd MR80 and my T-106, which is also rated at 17dBf. To my ears, the T-106 is the better sounding of the two. YMMV.
