Use the Tungsol 6550 reissue in my Cary SLI-80 on occasion and in the MC275 & MC75s that preceded it with excellent results. Not as 'powerful' sounding as the GL KT88, but very nice mids with female voices.

I'm using the Tungsol 6550 in my Rogue Eighty Eight after having nothing but problems with the Gold Lion KT88. They have been great and I really like them more than the EH 6550 that were stock.
