I wonder what that means for potential upgrades for the MS-750. They are way behind in that technology.

"It will be sad to see them go in favor of speakers that often look like someone was trying to clear out a massive overstock of tweeters and 2" drivers."

Apparently the author of the article doesn't think much of McIntosh's speaker lineup. It will be interesting to see if "Snell type" speakers suddenly begin appearing as McIntosh speakers.

Well that means Joe D'Appolito (head of Snell R&D and originator of the famous D'Appolito array - Mid/Tweeter/Mid driver arrangement) and consultant to Usher Speakers will be available for employment. Anybody thinking about starting up a new speaker company (coz there's not enough of them out there :D)? I wonder whether he stays in the D&M group or maybe moves on to another company. Interesting stuff.

From the jerks at Audioholics, I wouldn't expect anything less.
