I will share this thought with you.
If I ever do something this stupid again I need a Good-Ole-Ass-Kickin !!!
This was a preventive sort of thing.
Not like I had cancer on my face.
This has to be the worst thing I have went through in my 69 years.
It's constant PAIN 24/7 and that means you hardly get any sleep.

I'm retired so I could do these procedures.
I can't even imagine in my Wildest Dreams anyone even attempting this if they go to an office or any work place on a daily basis.

This is Terrible guys. :tears: :tears: :tears:

Thank goodness today started the 2nd part of this for applying the Healing Cream.
You apply that twice daily for 14-days.

Terry
What was the incentive for you to initiate this procedure in the first place?

Jim,

I had not been to a Dermatologist in many years after the one I was going to on a yearly basis moved.

So when I went for my yearly physical a few months back my N/P said he thought it would be smart to go to one just to be safe.
So I told him the one I had been going to moved and I had not been to one since and that was a good many years ago.
So Jacob (N/P) said I know one personally and he is a super nice guy you both will hit it off easily.
So he got his staff to set up the 1st appointment for me.
I went and sure enough the guy was super friendly and very easy to talk with.
He did the exam you think and did not find anything worth mentioning.
He also said Terry I do recommend that you do a facial precautionary cancer treatment.
So being the new patient I thought why not do as he suggested.
Seemed reasonable to me at the time.
He called in the prescriptions to Walgreen's and I stopped by on the way home and picked up the two tubes for the treatment.

So got home and started to do my thing as directed.
I'm a very anal sort of fellow so I do things in a very specific way and don't skip anything.

To sum this up if I was smarter and obviously I'm not I might have or should have ask more questions.
I'm just one of those people that as long as what I am told to do by a physician that seems reasonable I'll go along with it.
That's what took place with this and I will say maybe I should have ask him if this was really necessary or just a suggestion on his part.
If there is anyone that if one to lay fault it would have to be I suppose on my end for not asking further questions.

I will say I don't have any negative attitude towards the Dermatologist at all.
I think he meant well and I suppose this treatment is a good thing but it sure has been rough going.
This is the 2nd day for applying the healing cream which I do twice a day for 14-days.
At least my eyes have stopped watering and for the most part the majority of the facial pain is subsiding as the days are going by.

My sincere recommendation to anyone else would be to ask the following question on the front end.
Doc a quick question for you, is this a necessity or just a recommendation as a preventive measure ???
Based on the answer from the Dr. is then what I would do.
I would not do this just for the heck of it though.
