E xcited to be having Emile building my SilenZio. Can’t wait! Im a little anxious about having a PC based “computer-like” product in the house but Emile convinced me that I should be able to handle the added complexity of Windows. Having been a diehard Mac user since 1984 I feel like Im going to the dark side! I guess I have come to the conclusion that in actuality the closed world of OIS is actually more of the dark side. Cant believe I said that! I will report soon!

Can you kindly direct me to pricing and ordering info on the Silenzio?
Can HQ player be used on the Silenzio?
I would like to convert PCM to DSD for my Lampizator. JRiver can accomplish it but most feel HQ player sounds better.

Thanks.

choppie... Welcome to AA!

@Choppie, you can use HQ Player if you want. I thought the Lampi transcodes automatically?

choppie 07-23-2015 03:20 PM

Hi -E-, my Lampi is dsd128 only, no PCM.

-E- 07-23-2015 04:26 PM

Easy enough to just force a transcode to DoP128...
