Very interesting new product. Would love to learn more from the engineers about the technology here as compared to the clean iFI powered Remedy / Recovery units.

Lots of questions, even after reading the info on the PS Audio site. What is the new data format the first unit converts my 'packets' into and why are they better?

:lurking

This is probably gonna be a must for the ship and all the noise in our systems. You know where I live - keep me posted.:music:

The fact that this can be used whether your computer and DAC are right next to each other or at opposite ends of your network (with modem and switches in-between) makes it all the more intriguing. I've been following this on the PS Audio forum as well as on Paul McGowan's blogs from the beginning.

I should find out soon if I've been accepted into the beta program. If so, you'll be hearing reviews very soon!

Ethernet provides galvanic isolation from PC to DAC.

Ethernet is able to send data asynchronously at much higher speeds.

I see an opportunity for some very short Platinum USB cables and an upgraded Ethernet cable(not sure if that is necessary though).

Since this becomes the direct connection into your laptop (instead of the DAC), I wonder if it eliminates the Apple El Capitan "DAC compatibility" issue that blocks older (driver based) DACs from running on El Capitan when connected via USB? Oh I hope so...

Mine is on its way.
