I know I know. Recommending Hip-Hop on AA runs me the risk of having my membership suspended for 2 weeks. I’m gonna risk it anyhow. When is Hip Hop not really Hip Hop?

When it is real Cuban Hip Hop. On HBO Latino there is a show/concert called Havana Street Party Presents Orishas. Orishas is a Cuban (not Miami Cuban) band that fled to Paris years ago. I think this is like a homecoming (to Cuba) concert. It is Hip Hop like you’ve never heard it (unless you’ve heard them). Think Buena Vista Social Club doing Hip Hop, but better. It is in Spanish. If you don’t speak Spanish doesn’t matter, the music is that good. I, myself don’t like Hip Hop. I really liked this concert. Find it and give it a look, er, listen... both.[ATTACH]
