Foundation to support HDR and HDMI2.0b

Exciting below email from Walter at Krell! :scratch2:

Good afternoon,

I hope all of you are well and enjoying the new year.

We have had many requests for an add on to the Foundation to support HDR and HDMI2.0b, hence, the Krell HDMI 4K HDR Switcher with specs shown below. It hooks into your RS 232 port via an adapter, supplied with the unit.

• Full support for 4K 60Hz with HDR (HDMI 2.0b)
• 4 HDMI inputs (3 when used in loop back configuration)
• Single HDMI connection to TV in loop back configuration
• HDMI video output for connection to TV
• HDMI audio output for connection to the Foundation (original or 4K)
• Seamless operation with the Foundation using the supplied USB to RS-232 adapter (the 4 HDMI inputs are mapped to HDMI inputs 1- 4 on the Foundation)
• RS-232 control for stand-alone use with a home control system

We are determining build quantities, so please let us know if you’d be interested in purchasing this unit by clicking the button below to take a one question poll. Retail price is $999 US. Thank you!

All the best,

Walter
