Roy Hargrove Has Passed Away

Jazz trumpeter extraordinaire Roy Hargrove has passed away at the age of 49. Cause of death was cardiac arrest. My wife and I were lucky enough to see him at the Blue Note a couple years ago. He was an extremely talented musician.

Here is a nice NPR article on his life:

Sad news, he should have had so many more years ahead of him.

Oh my God!!
This really touches me...
I was lucky enough to see him in the beginning of his career, and was planning on seeing him again.
I will have to stay with the fine memory I have... :tears:

Just listened to the entire Crisol Habana album, which was my introduction to Roy Hargrove, and am grateful that he was able to give us gifts such as this album among others.
