REL six pack review ! :smoking: A STONE COLD BARGAIN ! :club:
https://www.tonepublications.com/review/relno25sixpack/ Now I'm really wondering how good these LRS's would be with this REL S510 six pack ! :scratch2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juvgOXjo3pQ |
Stacked REL S510's
Not specific to REL; but a pair of stacked subs, dig deeper generally than the same two subs simply distributed around the room.
From experiece stereo subs may not plumb the depths like a stacked array but done right they sure open up the sound stage. Brawn vs finess, take your pick! |
I have a stacked pair of Kresiel dxd 12012's (formerly the "K" in M&K in the front of my room and an Rythmik F18se in the rear. Ken called 2 of them a duo and they could be configured all the way to a Quattro (4 stacked) or a Quattro Quattro (4 stacked each side)!
Extremely accurate simply beautiful bass! |
I'm thinking of getting a Rel T7X sub for me entry hi fi. Would you guys like a review? As your all at the hi end it might be a bit silly, just sayin'.

Looks interesting…but Kreiselsound should really get its website sorted. It’s slow, plain ugly, most pages don’t load and it doesn’t look very confidence inspiring. If it wasn’t for the “K” in M&K I wouldn’t even consider them. Fun fact of the day : Lars Johansen, a former president of M&K, is the CSO and Partner at Perlisten (also venturing into push-pull subwoofer design) |

Stacked RELs are a game changer!! Here’s mine, s/812 6-pack with my brand new Wilson Sasha DAW. Heavenly. Attachment 66069

Absolutely gorgeous! Stacked subs remind me of the old Arnie Nudell and Paul McGowan Genesis and Infinity systems. This concept is still very much alive and well at Genesis and Rel. It's a terrific way to achieve wonderful bass.
