You're making history in HK. I wish you success. I wish you and your family remain healthy and safe. I hope China refrains from aggressive dominance enforcement.

You have my prayers Howie!

But let's keep it as a-political as we can here on AA...

Do what you can to perservere, Howie.

I am not surprised at the recent course of action promulgated in Beijing. They are not trustworthy, having proved that over and over again, and will do whatever the deem is necessary to perpetuate their regime regardless of their treaty commitments and public goodwill pronouncements.

Prayers sent Howie, that is a tuff situation, right there with all you folks.

Its just so easy to take freedom for granted, its so hard to comprehend its loss. Howie I hope the people of Hong Kong will long be able to hold onto their culture and traditional character as a diverse and rich part of a modern world.

Sorry, yes let's keep it apolitical. Advance apologies Ivan if this oversteps boundaries, just let me know and I will delete this thread.

Right now the only music I am listening to is the singing of the crowds!

When you post a subject where people's freedoms are concerned ..........it's going to be almost impossible to keep it apolitical......

Good luck to you, Howie.

I'm hoping for positive a resolution, but a huge clash of values may be imminent. The "One Country, Two Systems" principle will be impossible to sustain indefinitely.
