I spent some time talking with Jeff. Really nice guy. I was happy to hear from him that he uses Revel Salon 2s.

I don't care for the looks of the Jeff Rowland face plates. I would hate to be looking at that every day.

I agree with you here, but I have the newish DAC and 625 amp. Together they make an awesome small system with not too much bling. Unreal build quality. They are gems in person.

I also own the Rowland 625 power amp and love it. Regarding the appearance of their faceplates I find them to be classy and absolutely stunning in person, and the finishing effect is far more subtle than how they look in the pictures above. It would also help if they polished off the numerous smudges and fingerprints on their show demos!

i've found while they look beautiful, they are easily marked.
