Review of Dan D'Agostino Momentum Monoblock Amps (by Audio Esoterica)

Just came across a July 2012 review of the D.D. Momentum monoblocks by "Audio Esoterica" which is a new Australian audio publication and whose editor is Edgar Kramer.

According to Edgar Kramer, "Audio Esoterica" is purely based on high-end equipment, and is a separate publication to "Australian Hi-Fi" magazine, even though it came as a lift-out section originally published in "Australian Hi-Fi" Magazine (Jul/Aug 2012).

Thanks for posting. It would have been interesting if he had noted the two different cables looms he tried with the Momentum's.

Agreed.

Other than mentioning that he hooked up his reference Sasha W/P's, as well as having placed the Momentum monoblock amps atop his custom cone-coupled acrylic platforms, he made no mention of any other associated equipment (source, preamp, cables or other accessories) that he had used. It certainly would have been a more intriguing read if he had disclosed this information.
