Changing wooden side stripes on 3.7i

Is it possible (and how difficult is it) to change the wooden side strips to a different color on the 3.7i?

I'd like to go from back to cherry. Is this something Magneplanar will sell you?

I have my 3.7 apart right now. If you take the screws out around the perimeter of the panel you can remove the front cloth and Wood stripes. I am currently refinishing mine because I wanted a darker color.

Post up a picture of the speakers for us when you are done.

I'm not a maggie owner but this sounds like an excellent DIY thread that you could post with instructions and pics

I made new side rails out of mahogany for my Tympani IVa's to replace the stock oak rails.
