Patrick,...thank you for the clarification. Can you write me via PM and send specifics on the frequency specs; there seem to be 1 or 2 different versions of what the low freq extent and roll-off specs are out there for the big sub. Would also like to know practicalities of using it only as a 2-channel music sub....thanks!

Why via PM?! :D

We also want to know!

Hi SCAudiophile,

At this time I have no other specifications outside of those listed on our website, although I've asked for more details before the actual product launch.

I used a single DB2D and a DB3D (not at the same time) with 804D3 and 805D3 speakers. The result was seamless integration. The whole DB Series has been engineered with linearity and massive power/extension in mind. So while they can be used for HT, they have the clarity to successfully mate with high performance speakers. If you'd like more details on my last point, I'd be happy to share.

Regards,

Patrick

i dont understand how a smaller woofer like db3 goes as deep as a bigger one like on the DB1.
They are both specified on 10hz.

Probably cause there is no SPL data for their measurements.
Check the specs for the PV1D..2x8" gives 7,5 hz at -3db? sure, but at what SPL?

Its a bit weird I think.

I just placed an order for a DB3D (wanted the DB2 but it didn't fit behind the couch) but was told a July delivery date. Is this consistent with what others are hearing?

Yesterday I've ordered 2 x B&W DB3D to go with my existing B&W 804D3's and Lyngdorf Roomperfect setup. My dealer told me delivery was in June. This order was made in Belgium btw.
