Canton Reference 1 K

Soooooo...

spoke to Ivan about advice on something with a little more umph than the Sabrinas... Was thinking on continuing with the Wilson line but then I got a little "are you open minded" from Ivan...

Much like the Godfather he made an offer that I could not refuse... and after about 48 hours of teeth gnashing and internal reflection on all things audio... phone calls to Zurich and beyond...

the next thing I know I'm ordering Canton Reference 1 K's from Masterlu....

Easy part is over, now we have to wait... sigh..

if you're on the fence, screw it, kick that thing over and go for it. He can help.

Alton.......Congratulations on your new Canton Reference K1 speakers. I am anxiously waiting to read your impressions and see photos of them in your system. What finish did you select?

I'm looking forward to hearing yours and Ivan's feedback about those gorgeous speakers.

Thank you and audiogear! I'm looking forward to hearing these 300# beasts, at least I don't have any stairs to contend with... lol

Will hopefully be taking a trip to Cape Cod to have a listen soon!

very nice congrats, what is the delivery time frame? Cant wait to read your review and see pics, I would love a set of these too! :)

alkizz 05-29-2018 10:55 AM

Hi djwhog, looks like it takes a couple of months to build them then they have to come from Germany through US customs which who knows about that. then I'll have to make the final payment.. so thinking anywhere from 3 to 8 months. fingers crossed for the sooner!

These look serious. I'm thinking that perhaps you could have them delivered to my house so I can break them in for you.

Congrats!! Ivan is a magician!
