Fuji XT-2

Has anyone tried the new flagship yet? I am considering an upgrade and would really like to learn if the improvements justify the cost.

Have you been to the Fuj-x forum? There is some great info there. I'm still using my XT-1 and x100s.

Yes, Randy, I have been using mine for over two months now. It is AMAZING.

It is a quantum leap above the X-T1 in performance, not an "evolutionary" upgrade.

See my racing pics thread.

Stated in another thread, but mine should be here next week. Seemed a worthy upgrade to the first version, so I went for it.

Darn thing feels like a real camera, rather than a plastic computer.

Well, the trash man doesn't come until Wednesday so I guess I'll have to hang onto my crappy old X-T1 until then . . . .

Should I dump my X-100T along with the X-T1?

I have the x100s and I absolutely love it. I am going to Japan soon to see my son and I will give it to him. He is experiencing the limitations of his iPhone camera. I may upgrade my x100 to the x100t.

The XT2 has vastly improved EVF compared to the XT2 when in boost mode.

In your dreams Dan . . . . I just looked at my Lightroom metadata, and the 30,455 pictures stored on my external hard drive, were taken (by me) with 71 different cameras over the 14 years I've been using digital cameras.

This indicates to me that I am an absolute equipment boob and change cameras about as often as I change speakers and/or, about as often as I change my underwear.

P.S. in addition to the two Fuji cameras I mentioned, I also currently have a Fuji X-T10 and a Fuji X-E2 . . . as well as a Sony A6300 and a Sony RX100IV (With which I took this picture of the Hungarian Parliament Building at night a couple of weeks ago - A tiny little, almost point and shoot - but damn nice camera . . . through the glass window of a dinner cruise boat on the Danube). Click on the little picture if you want to see it - didn't want to post a great big Sony picture on this Fuji thread - because, after all, I do like my Fuji cameras better.
