I use my GIK diffusers on my side walls but I do have diffusion behind my speakers as well. I like diffusion in most locations in my room except for the wall behind me which is 75% absorption and 25% diffusion up high on the wall. My side walls are also a mix of diffusion and absorption.

My room is a work in progress. Just now finished making some extra bass traps for the lower section of my front wall but still waiting on the fabric to cover them.

I will take a few pics for you this evening.
