Any members here planning on heading over to Overture(Wilmington, De) next Monday (2/25 3-5pm) to meet Wendell Diller and listen to the Magnepan 30.7 demo ?

I would love to attend.
Not in the cards this time unfortunately.

I checked them out at Gifted Listener in Va and was very impressed. they were running them with Ayre electronics.

Reminds me that I need drop by there and retrieve the Jimmy Smith CD I left in their machine at my last audition.

They are also going to be at Audiolab in Feasterville Pa. on the 27th @ 7pm. Even though I’m in S. Jersey that seemed easier to get to with less traffic

Good show today at Overture. Wendell Diller gave a nice presentation followed by a Q & A session. Overture's newly remodeled showroom complete with snacks and beverages was a nice touch.

Sound was super given the 19' wide by 29' plus depth which allowed them plenty of room to breath ! Electronics were all Esoteric Grandioso

LOL Craig, they would be somewhat overpowering in my 14'6" x 24'6" room.

I did spend some time in another room taking in the 3.7i's, if there is a better sub 10k speaker I've not heard it. They play way beyond their price point IMO. Electronics powering them was all PASS, yes they would fit nicely in my room !
