Budget Power Cord Choices For McIntosh
I'm looking for suggestions on a good quality budget power cord for McIntosh modern solid state amps. By "budget" I mean $300 max. Something that doesn't color the tone but can expand soundstage and detail, if that's possible.

You can try Shunyata Delta NR

Length needed? Has an affect on any recommendation -- I'm assuming 2 or 2.5M's. but, thought I'd ask.

1.5m length.

Thanks Blueoak, but I have no interest in DIY cords. Experimenting with ready-made cords is frustrating enough.

along with Blueoak's nice DIY alternative over the years I've had good luck with Frank's offerings .......
http://www.signalcable.com as for 'asking' your power cable to expand the soundstage............if your soundstage is not where you want it I suspect speaker / room setup followed by source / pre-amp/amp. |

I’ve used Essential Sound Products (ESP) power cords to good effect. They have 2 meters cords for around $250.

Do you really understand soundstage ? if so what do you expect a power cord to do ?? As for 'claims' from power cord manufacturers .............. |
