F110v2 subs

JL has just begun shipping the new F110v2 subs. I already received my first batch. :drums:

The added DSP features in the new versions are (to me) the big news. Often, a room will have more than one bass peak, and the new versions will be able to address those.

Hello Ivan,

is there a room size limit, below which you would recommend using the F110V2's and above which you would go with the F112V2's, or is bigger/stronger always better?
If there is room size limit, what is it and why? Because the F110V2's would sound better below that size, or because although they would not sound better, but one would simply not hear the difference and the benefits of the F112's below that size limit and therefore it would not make financial sense to buy the bigger one's.
Use is 100% music and I would use 2 subs.

Thanks for the answer in advance.

No, I work the equation in reverse. Tell me about your room, size, main speakers and budget.

I run dual F113's in relatively small rooms with superb results.

Room measurement: 11 x 21 x 8 (dedicated Audio room)

Source: Pro-Ject Xtension 9 Turntable, MacBook Air/Quobz streaming/ Internal DAC of pre-amp
Amplification: McIntosh C2500 / McIntosh MC452
Speaker: Marting Logan Ethos

The speakers go down to 30 Hz, so I'm left to cover only the 20 - 30 Hz range.

Budget: price of one f113

Update on budget: basically the price of one f113, but in a stretch mode and with a lot of convincing i can work it up to the price of two f112's.....
