RIP - Mariss Jansons

Very sad news overnight, this is a tremendous loss for the world of music;

I also heard it on our classical radio station.
I knew that he wasn't in good shape.
But that he would die so young is unexpected and a terrible loss indeed.

I have several albums with him conducting.
I will pull out a Blu-ray tonight.

Playing several of his releases here today....very sad for the music world to have lost him. His life story from the beginning is an amazing one as well.
Born in hiding from the Nazis in 1943s and on from there....the world was truly blessed by his talent and good nature.
