Cape Cod Theater
Preface:
I will chronicle the progress of my Cape Cod Theater here. This will be a long and arduous task. I will start by posting some shots of the unfinished basement over this weekend. Construction will begin over the next few weeks. This should prove to be a fun project. The entire basement will be worked on at the same time; approx 3200' I will focus on the Theater's progress, as best I can. This will be a sticky thread because I believe it will be very useful for anyone building a dedicated room. In addition, this will take quite a bit of time (just as "The Room" in Florida did). |
Ivan,
Really looking forward to this - it will be fun and educational to see a real first class room put together, from the (under)ground up. I'm sure everyone will get some great tips from your postings, and you certainly will pour years of experience into this effort. |
Ivan.......Great idea. This project will prove educational for all of us. Looking forward to it getting started.

This will be fun to follow.

Maybe you can rig up a time lapse recording of the event. Something like the> The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien - Time Lapse Part 2 - Video - NBC.com
|
I cannot wait for this!

This will allow us all to share in the adventure. We Florida residents need to know "What is a Basement??":D
You have over 400 Aficionados who will be reading this documentary on a regular basis. Don't forget to save some time for yourself to enjoy the beach, savor some nice fresh lobsters and smoke a few Cuban Cigars at sunset. |
This will definitely be fun to watch!
I look forward to the first "bare bones" photos... Pete |
this will be great reading and yet even better with the pics to show the progress!
