That is certainly possible. Sometimes when the power goes out it needs to be re-set, but this time it will not.

It seems absurd that one can purchase a reference grade TT costing as much as a new Honda, spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on set up tools to make sure azimuth, VTF and P2S is correct to the nth degree, and the TT manufacturer provides a cheese ball strobe disc.

Hard to believe no one else is making a similar product.

Your right -- at least back in the day.

However; today there are smart phone apps which you can utilize with the cheesy strobe disc to display on the phone accurate TT speed. Pretty cool and the best as anything I've seen.

Best Sir,

Bob

Given the anal retentive nature of us audiophiles (I cleaned the Test LP in my Klaudio before using it :)), I really like the option to view the RPM in real time and make adjustments as necessary. Is this really necessary? No. Does it improve the quality of the music? Don't think so. Does it satisfy my OCD? Yes.

Not necessarily. Bill is still very active on the DIYAudio Forums. His username is Pyramid. I would send him a message, he might be able to help.
