EAT 12AX7 in McIntosh C2300

Does anyone have any experience with the EAT tubes fitting in the 2300 with the damping rings on the tubes? I have all Gold Lions now, but am considering EAT in my Moving Coil section, but need to know if they'll fit.

Thanks.......Scott

Scott... You ask some good questions. ;)

I'll follow up on your Sub Stands tomorrow.

Hi
I don't think it will fit.
Thanks

Scott.......There is plenty of room between the tube sockets on the C2300 circuit board to allow Eats with their cooling rings to fit. Not a problem. They won't fit in the C500 or C1000 line stage sockets behind the front porch windows. Those tube sockets are too close together. Eats will fit in the phono section of the C500 and C1000.

Have you tried this from experience, or are you making an educated guess?

Hi
No, I haven't tried them, I was interessed in these tubes but I have a feeling that it looks tight. Then you have to dismantle the plate behind the tubes.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks

I'll let you know when mine arrive.
