Has anyone heard this DAC ~ w a v e d r e a m ~. Never heard this company before.

Okay...no one heard the above. How about this DAC from same company.

I got nothing. The second one is fugly.

I've heard the Rockna. I tested it against the MSB, TotalDac, the Bricasti M1 and my own Boulder. The Rockna was as close as made no difference to the MSB 5.....for half the money. Recommended.

More users with experience with the Wavedream Dac?
I'm really curious about this product, with its ladder dac structure.
I see the dac are getting great reviewes around in magazines/web.
Founder Nicolae are a well known digital designer. Done work with MSB, Goldmund, PS Audio etc...

Did you compare the Rockna Wavedream or Wavedream Signature to the other DACs?

I will be comparing my Chord Dave DAC to the Rockna Wavedream in a couple of days.

It's contrary to what I thought I had read about the Rockna, but a gentleman wanted to trade me for the Esoteric K-01X I was selling because he said the Rockna was "bright."

I look forward to that report. :) One question: The Rockna's FIR reconstruction filter has 4820 taps. The DAVE on the other hand has 164,000 taps. How do you plan to compensate for that?
