Guess you should sell off all your gear now, Ivan... All you need is Silenzio and a few Noveto Sowlo units... ;)

I looked at that website for 10 minutes and I still don't know what the hell it is.

It's vaporware, that's what it is.

"I was listening to a video clip that I could hear loud and clear, but no one around me could."

Not too long ago that was a certifiable condition that could earn you a one way trip to the mental house. :D

While I am not familiar with the technology behind this idea, one thing that we have been led to believe all our lives is that sound is a "wave". It is not, it actually is a bubble. http://cymatica.com/2009/11/05/cymat...le-not-a-wave/

“Sound in air is the transfer of periodic movements between adjacent colliding atoms or molecules. This sonic energy typically expands away from the site of the collisions as a spherical or bubble-shaped emanation.”

This kind of technology was developed decades ago and initial applications were military. Some work on it was done at the Bath Iron Works.

Am I the only one who finds it funny that there is entire area of science named cymatics. The study of sound made visible?

Nikola Tesla did say “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." :smoking:
