12" Tonearm
Anyone using a bespoke 12" tonearm (other than VPI)? If yes, what are you using and what do you think of it? Am building a DP-80 TT rig and want to use a 12" TA due to the large diameter of the DP-80. Thanks.

I'm using an 11" Kuzma 4Point. It's the best 'arm I've had in my system thus far.

For my DP80 project selected 12” Reed 3P w/cocobolo wood armwand. 18g effective mass, on the fly VTA and azimuth.
Something to keep in mind when selecting an arm, some 12” designs are really up there mass wise. This in turn can really limit cartridge options. Enjoy your end result, the DP80 is a great foundation for a high end TT! |
Been offered a great deal on an arm that really intrigues me, the Sorane ZA12, but has a fixed headshell. Maybe it's time to think of a 2-arm set-up.

There are plenty of reviews about the Kuzma 4Point on the Web. It's a great tonearm. |

Check out Mockingbird Distribution. Also, is Sorane......... not Zorane. Art Dudley should have a review published shortly.
