Dave.......I own a Lexus IS350 F Sport and find the spindle grill to be attractive on that model. I figured this comparison would be made. I would agree that on some Lexus models, particularly their SUV's, the size of the grills are ridiculous and out of proportion. Lexus scalled it down for the IS models and I think the grill looks good. In fact, compared to this new Toyota Avalon TRD model, the Lexus spindle grill on my Lexus in the photo below looks quite good, particularly when compared to the Avalon TRD from Toyota.

Dan, I totally understand, to each his own. The rest of the car is gorgeous, but that grill.......... as I've stated before , 'Dart Vaders illegitimate stepchild'. But then what can I say, I like red heads !

FWIW, buddy of mine owns an auto body shop, he luvvvvs the new Lexus grills !

Now THAT'S a grill. Phew!!!

That Toyota is awful, what were they thinking? But I agree with Dan on the Lexus: I had two ES sedans in a row, and was thinking about moving to the RS SUV but the new grill really put me off. On the other hand I think it looks pretty good on the IS and especially the LC.
